POOP in 15 – Home, day 2

What is POOP in 15?  It is a series for people who want more order in their lives, but don’t have a lot of time to devote to doing it.

Today’s task:  Get three huge garbage bags, bins, or boxes and fill them with garbage that is around your house.  These are things you can’t donate to charity, but still needs to be tossed.  Fill the bags/boxes/bins separating between recycling and garbage.

Clutter is the enemy.  We’re meeting that enemy head on and we’re telling it f’ off.

  1. As I do a lot of crafting with recycled items, this is my biggest down fall. It’s so hard to throw away that cereal box, twist tie, or scrap of paper because the kiddo or I might really need it while working on our next project!

I have managed to clear a LOT of it out, but I still feel like there is more I can get rid of.

  2. I’m lovin’ this series, girl! I’m not shittin’ ya. (See what I did there?)

  3. I am so in! Can I start next week?

  4. I abhor clutter and there is no better feeling to me than being able to get RID of things! (This works out well because any sadness about my babies growing up is balanced by the joy of the baby STUFF leaving the house!) So I didn’t think I could really participate in these days. However, yesterday I was able to get rid of a whole bag of junk, in the form of most of my cd collection. I almost never listen to cds anymore and realized I had kept a lot of them for one or two songs, which I could find on youtube if I really wanted to hear them. Thanks for the inspiration to root out clutter wherever it may hide!

  5. Do I love this blog? Do I love this series? I do.
Starting this project today. <3 Thank you for POOP!

  6. Getting rid of old junk in your house is absolutely essential. I needed to get public storage in santa monica, and i was very glad I did. I was even able to clear out enough junk so i could stage, and sell my house. Thanks for the post.
