Homemade Mondays Week 71

Homemade Mondays is a series for people that are on a journey to better living, via healthier eating and a more natural lifestyle.  We realize that there are different paths that we all take to get to that place, and this bloghop celebrates that.  Whether you’re a seasoned raw foodist who has banned all things unnatural, or a rookie who is starting out by cutting out junk food, we’d love to hear from you! Link up with your favorite recipes, projects, crafts, or rants and raves.

The Hosts:

(that’s me!) Sarah of Frugal by Choice, Cheap by Necessity
Aubrey of Homegrown & Healthy
Jess from Scratch Mommy
Joyce from the Skinny Pear

Homemade Mondays will open every Monday. You have until Thursday to make your submissions. We will share our favorite posts on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and shout it from the rooftops.
  • Link up. Use the submission form below to add your blog posts to our gallery below. You can add as many links as you’d like, as long as they’re on topic. What’s eligible? Recipes, crafts, DIY projects, gardening, fitness, green ideas or just plain old advice. We’re pretty open.
  • Tell us about yourselves. Leave a comment telling us a little about your site and what you’ve shared. Of course this isn’t mandatory, but it’s a good way to stand out.
  • Link back. Share the love by adding a link back to this party with your readers so they can see all of these great ideas as well.

My favorite post from last week was “Homemade Lemon Pepper” from Life From Scratch.  I LOVE lemon pepper in a way that would likely be deemed obsessive.  Lemon pepper is amazeballs on eggs.  I have to try this recipe!

Yo yo, head’s up, this post might contain affiliate links which help to support my site. And my canning, seed buying, and aggressive saving habits.

Making this recipe or others?

Post a photo on my Facebook page, share it on Instagram, or save it to Pinterest with the tag #sustainablecooks. I can't wait to see your take on it!

  3. I so look forward to Mondays now just because I love this blog hop party! 🙂 I’ve been finding all kinds of gems here! This week I decided to share: Dippy Dogs, Caramelized Leek, Basil, + Black Pepper Biscuits, Basil Pesto Sauce, and Winna Winna Pizza Dinna all from my friend and I’s blog Bicoastal State of Mind. I thought you’d especially like the Pizza post as I see you’re planning on having pizza this week 🙂 The recipe included really is the best pizza dough recipe I’ve found! I really liked it because it doesn’t require much kneading, no rise time, and it only takes 20 minutes to bake. 🙂 Hope you all have a good week!

  5. March is National Nutrition Month and this year’s theme is “Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right”, a campaign focused on food taste AND nutrition. In today’s post I share what “Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right” means to me. What does it mean to you? As always, thanks for hosting!

  6. I was delighted when Jess told me she’d be sharing my post about Yoga Pants Syndrome. This week I have another confession. My kids are spoiled – sort of. Actually I make no apologies. It’s all in the name of helping them become who they are supposed to be. My guess is that lots of the ladies here “spoil” their kids in this way too. Thanks so much for hosting!

  7. <3 Thanks so much for featuring my lemon pepper seasoning! I hope you try it out, its super yummy!

  8. I like lemon pepper too, especially on fish. This looks like I could make it.

  9. This is one of my favorite parties! I love all the inspired ideas that find there way to Homemade Mondays. I was a little late on sharing this week, but I linked up my Vegan Peach Muffins and Game Day Chili. Hope you stop by Cheeky Caprice and give these recipes a try! Can’t wait to check out what everyone else shared 🙂
